lost bread
Lost Bread is a food magazine with an objective to tell the story and culture behind the food, unlike most food magazines that mainly focus on how to cook the dish. The name is inspired by the French term for French toast—pain perdu—which literally translates to "lost bread." Just as the stale, old bread is reinvented into a fresh, new dish, I wanted this to be a reinvention of food magazines. Within this project I designed a table of contents, departments, turn pages, and feature stories in addition to the magazine brand identity.
I adapted one of the feature stories into an Instagram story to show the flexibility of the brand across both physical and digital mediums.
